Executive Chef Josh Buehler
Josh Buehler was named Executive Chef in 2008, giving him much responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the KO Prime kitchen (which many do not realize includes 24-hour room service for the Nine Zero Hotel).
Chef Buehler's Background
Prior to joining the staff at KO Prime as Sous Chef three years ago, Buehler worked at Eastern Standard Kitchen, at the late Le Soir Bistro in Newton, MA, and at Boston's prestigious College Club.
A 1998 cum laude graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Buehler's mastery of French cooking techniques won him an Escoffier Award while still an undergrad. The highlight of his first paid position out of college -- at Boston's esteemed Ritz-Carlton Hotel - was to have played a major role in preparing Julia Child's 90th birthday celebration there, which was hosted by Jacques Pepin.
